Are you tired of your eyes looking “tired”? Until recently, surgery was the only option to reduce the signs of aging around your eyes. But thanks to advancements in aesthetic medicine, there is now an alternative to invasive surgery called a non-surgical blepharoplasty with CO2 laser treatment for the upper and lower eyelids! Keep reading to learn more….
What is a non-surgical blepharoplasty?
Performed by Dr. Devol, Tampa’s top medical aesthetic doctor, a non-surgical blepharoplasty uses fractional CO2 laser technology (more specifically the DEKA CoolPeel CO2 Laser) to treat the delicate area around the eyes with unparalleled precision and without causing thermal damage to the surrounding tissue. At the same time, the DEKA CoolPeel CO2 laser also provides amazing skin-resurfacing results. By rejuvenating the skin in this area, the eyes appear more open, and a more youthful look is achieved.
With minimal downtime, a non-surgical blepharoplasty works to do the following:
- Improve sagging skin
- Stimulate collagen production
- Treat acne scars
- Reduce hyperpigmentation
- Create smoother skin
- Reduce the appearance of dark circles
- Tighten upper and lower eyelids
- Reduce wrinkles around the eye
What can I expect from the procedure?
Before the procedure, a topical anesthetic is applied to the areas being treated to eliminate any discomfort, and metal eye shields are inserted below the eyelids to protect the cornea. Not to worry! Before inserting the eye shield, anesthetic eye drops will be used to numb, so you will not be able to feel a thing
To achieve the desired results, we recommend at least four treatments spread over a three to four-month period. Results should start to appear after the second treatment and continue to improve for about three to six months following the course of treatment.
It’s not cosmetic. It’s confidence.
